Village Fit: A Conversation with Owner Aminta Davis

How Long Has Village Fit Been in Business?

Since September 2021.

Are You the Sole Owner?

Yes, and head coach. I just hired my first employee, Zandr Diaz. He is coaching classes, doing personal training, and hosted the Fremont Fun Run obstacle course we put together.

Describe What Your Business Does.

Village Fit provides Small Group Training with a strength and conditioning focus and offers personal training and nutrition services. The time you spend at the gym should make your life outside of the gym better. Our motto is “Train and Shine.”

What Background/Experience Do You Have That’s Relevant to Your Business?

I’ve been working as a small group and personal trainer since 2012. I started my career with CrossFit and have worked up to a nationally credited Level 3 CrossFit certification—a level fewer than 1 percent of all CrossFit trainers hold. Certifications include Precision Nutrition, Coaching the Aging Athlete, The Movement Fix, and more.

What Makes Your Business Unique in the Realm of Fitness Businesses?

Our front door says it all: “Happy You Are Here…LET’S GO!” I believe you really will feel we’re happy to have you join the Village Fit community. Go to our website to schedule a FREE consultation and FREE first visit.

Anything You Want to Add?

Most of our classes are held outdoors! When you spend most of your life inside, it’s great to count on an hour of fresh air, no matter the weather.
