Taking a hiatus for the last couple of years due to COVID, Fremont Fest, the Beaumont Business Association’s annual street fair, is back this year. Scheduled for Sat., August 6, The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with plenty of fun on tap. This year’s event will feature over 120 vendor booths, a kid zone, and a beer garden at Hi-Top Tavern. There will not be a kid’s parade or pub crawl this year due to pandemic concerns, and live music will be in the purview of individual businesses.
To accommodate event-goer safety while enjoying the day-long event, Fremont Street will be closed from 42nd to 51st avenues.
