Three new board members were elected at BWNA’s April general meeting. A big “thank you” to these neighbors who stepped up on behalf of the community! These folks joined the board because:
Rob Lee: When I moved to the neighborhood three years ago, I was surprised to find so much positive activity in Beaumont-Wilshire. I love our walkable neighborhood, and I’m a proponent of safe streets. I look forward to volunteering my time on the board.
Amy O’Brien: I’ve lived in the neighborhood for almost 20 years and feel very invested. By joining the board I hope to take a more active role in preserving this safe, walkable, and vibrant neighborhood for current neighbors and future neighbors to come.
Jon Hays: Our family loves Oregon, Portland, and most specifically, this neighborhood, where we’ve lived for about 11 years. We are also big believers that if you love something you should help make it better. I’m excited to help keep Beaumont-Wilshire a fantastic place to live and work.
