A free, family-friendly event with something for everyone, including:
- Biking lessons for children with activities to learn about bike safety skills;
- Learn-to-ride coaching for adults just starting out on a bike;
- Quick-fix Bike Repair to make sure your bike is rolling smoothly and safely; and
- BIKETOWN sign-up table, Portland’s electric-assist shared bike program.

Pedalpalooza Bike Summer!
This bicycle festival happens in June, July, and August all over Portland. Anyone can lead a ride and anyone can join the rides. Rides are free, unless otherwise indicated. Ride themes run the gamut!
Past rides have included picnic rides, dance party rides, a tour of heritage trees, architecture appreciation, poetry rides, and silly costume rides.

Sunday Parkways
During Portland Sunday Parkways events, the city closes streets along the route to car traffic to allow for family-friendly biking. The season will start with East Portland on Sunday, May 7, followed by Northeast Cully on Sunday, June 25. The new route for 2023 will feature Southwest Portland on Sep. 10.
