While [wo]manning BWNA’s booth at Fremont Fest last month, my cohorts and I were pleasantly surprised to hear from people looking to get involved in our neighborhood and its association. That led me to wonder: Are there MORE folks in our community who want to volunteer, but aren’t sure how to go about it? With that in mind, here are ways to help out — and meet people who are just up or down the block! Events
Our Events Committee is where all the BWNA-sponsored events and activities begin. Join this team of enthusiastic planners to contribute your ideas, or take the lead role in planning an event.
If you’re not the meeting-goer sort, consider helping occasionally at events like the community clean-up, speaker forums, BWNA Skidmore Block Party, or others. We’d also love to have folks skilled at Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and/or marketing to help with promotion of events.

Be a Trash Walker!
Help us “keep it clean” in the neighborhood by picking up trash and removing graffiti in Beaumont-Wilshire on a regular basis as you walk the neighborhood. To be a Trash Walker, email Angela Frome at angelafrome@yahoo.com to receive free cleaning supplies.
