We’ve been running people perspectives for a couple of years. As the dog days of summer are upon us, we decided to let this column go to the dogs. If you love it, let us know! ”What’s your favorite thing to do in the neighborhood?”
“I am a rescue tripod from the Oregon Humane Society. I have so much fun meeting new friends. My favorite thing is to ride the Waggin’ Wagon to my daycare.” (Bryce, 2.5 years in B-W)
“I love waiting for my favorite mail carrier to come by. My job is to remind him where I live so that I can practice sitting for a treat.” (Mr. Bojangles, aka “BoBo,” 9.5 years in B-W)
I love living on Alameda Street and spend much of my day on the back of my chair watching out the window. So many people walking and running by. I especially like it if they have their dogs. My favorite thing to do is to greet people at the door with my octopus. (Remy, 5 years in B-W)
“My parents adopted me a year and a half ago, and I have come so far! I’m learning to be brave and even made a couple of friends at Wilshire Park… Hi, Ruthie and Top!” (Penny, 1.5 years in B-W)
