Join the Columbia Slough Watershed Council on Saturday, March 12, 9 a.m.–12:45 p.m., Water Pollution Control Lab (6543 N. Burlington Ave., Portland, 97203) for Slough 101, a free workshop about the Columbia Slough watershed and its unique story. Slough 101—suitable for adults and teens 14 and up—covers local history, water, wildlife, and current issues in the watershed with eight local experts. Explore watershed health, environmental issues, and recreation opportunities in N-NE Portland, Gresham, and Fairview.
