Thanks for the reminder in the January/February B-W Newsletter to make our neighborhood a harder target for crime. It was very timely. On the night of January 16, I noticed three young men methodically checking cars down the length of 47th—both on the street and in driveways. The police responded promptly, but your suggestions are a crucial first step in avoiding this sort of vandalism.
