News from the BBA — Local Businesses Working to Enhance Our Community
The Beaumont Business Association’s busiest and bubbliest season is underway with a host of outdoor events highlighting local businesses in the Beaumont-Wilshire neighborhood.
Fremont Fest Marketplace will be back this year on Saturday, Aug. 2 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Last Regiment of Syncopated Drummers will open the festivities at 10 a.m.
This year’s theme for Fremont Fest is BUBBLES! Businesses and booths will be offering bubble-themed attractions and activities throughout the day.
Amalfi’s Italian restaurant will host live music, offer their pizza by the slice, and sell drinks from their walk-up bar. Other participating vendors include The Arrangement, Homewatch CareGivers of Portland, Hi-Top Tavern, and many more. The festival will span Fremont Street from NE 42nd Avenue to NE 51st Avenue.
In addition to Fremont Fest, First Thursday events offer family-friendly activities and opportunities to shop locally on the first Thursday of each month through September.
