The Community for Positive Aging (CfPA), founded as the Hollywood Senior Center, supports older adults in the Beaumont-Wilshire neighborhood and beyond. It offers a wide range of free services and programs that promote independence, connection, and well-being for adults 55 and older.
CfPA services include personalized case management, weekly food pantries with culturally specific offerings, health and wellness programs, technology support, and social and recreational activities. Their person-centered approach meets people where they are and works with them to address unique needs and goals. So whether someone needs help accessing food, connecting to community resources, navigating health services, or simply finding social connection, the CfPA team is there to help. Volunteers of all ages are also welcome to get involved. Volunteers help deliver food, support special events, provide tech help, serve meals, and assist with programs that make a real difference in the lives of older adults in our community. Do you have a few hours a week or want to help with a special project? CfPA would love to hear from you.
