Beaumont-Wilshire residents and folks from nearby neighborhoods came out in force at NE 42nd Avenue and Fremont on March 28 for No Kings Day. The event, one of thousands of peaceful protests organized around the country that day, was held to protest the activities of the second Trump administration — including the war in Iran, suppression of the Epstein files, and Immigration and Customs (ICE) killings and other violence. Between the event hours of 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., event organizers estimated 1,200 people participated at the Fremont location. All photos by Susan Trabucco.
