While the practice of being thankful for the things that bring joy and meaning to our lives isn’t limited to the holiday season, Thanksgiving and other cultural celebrations this time of year make for a good time to pause and reflect on what’s important. These Beaumont-Wilshire neighbors stopped to do just that when we posed our Perspectives questions this way:
“I am thankful for…”
“…my family, friends, and our 2 awesome doggies. I love living in this neighborhood that has such a sense of community and respect for each other.” (Carrie, 20 years in B-W)
”… my community of dog-loving people and respectful neighbors. I love living in this neighborhood with its local shops and restaurants. Everyone is so friendly!” (Pavel, 3 years in B-W)
“…home, paws, family, solace, warmth, growth, sustenance, smiles, love.” (Regina, 32 years in B-W)
“…food, my house, sports teams I can play on, and water.” (Hudson, 7 years in B-W)
“…my family, food, water, and my life.” (Zoey, 7 years in B-W)
Polly Webber is a realtor and mom of two teenage girls. Born and raised in the neighborhood, she can’t quite shake her original stomping grounds. She purchased and lives in the B-W home next door to her childhood home. Reach her by emailing polly.webber@cascadehassonsir.com.
