Sue Mautz started her Fremont Street business in 1980 as a small flower arrangement and wreath-making shop, and The Arrangement has grown into a successful fixture in the B-W neighborhood. The shop’s diverse and unique selection of merchandise has universal appeal, and Sue Mautz’s dedication to beauty, harmony, and comfort has created a community gathering space that many visit not just for shopping, but to reconnect with friends and take a breather from life’s hectic pace.
Sue has hired 70 women over the years—some of them friends, some moms with small children, some high-school students, and some neighbors—one of whom has worked at The Arrangement for 35 years! Additionally, The Arrangement has advertised in the BWNA newsletter since 2014.
The Arrangement’s 39th anniversary celebration takes place on Saturday, May 4, and features discounts, surprise gifts, and refreshments. Unfortunately, some residents may not receive delivery of this issue of the newsletter until after May 4, but drop by later to commemorate the anniversary. Hours are Monday through Saturday 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., and Sundays 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with off-street parking available.
